I can’t say enough good things about this place. Lovely staff, fantastic food and great value for money. We stumbled across this place on our first evening in Rawai and liked it so much that we returned a further 3 times. There’s a great variety of food (highly recommend the chicken massaman with roti!) a brilliant selection of cocktails (made to perfection) and the staff are so kind and attentive. Would really recommend visiting if you’d like a taste of home cooked Thai food in an authentic setting!
Magnificent massaman! We stumbled across this restaurant and honestly had THE best meal we have had in Phuket. We had the chicken satay skewers, chicken massaman and roti and stir fried beef and all were SO DELICIOUS. Hands down the absolute most delicious, tasty, local and authentic meal. The staff are so friendly, the prices are so cheap compared to other places with worse food and the vibe was chilled and inviting. I wish we had been sooner to enjoy it more than once! One of the best meals I had in Thailand! Dinner at Baan Klang Nam was unforgettable - hands down the best meal I had during my trip. The atmosphere by the river was lovely, but it was the food that completely stole the show. We had the fried fish, Thai-style omelette, and fried rice - all flavorful and cooked to perfection. But the real surprise was the banana fritter dessert. I didn’t expect much, but it ended up being the highlight of the night - crispy outside, soft and sweet inside. Truly next level! The staff here were also super kind. We even met a Vietnamese staff member, and since we’re Vietnamese too, she helped us order everything in Vietnamese and shared so many interesting things about the restaurant. It made the whole experience feel extra warm and personal. If you’re in Bangkok and want authentic Thai food in a beautiful setting, this place is a must-visit.
A true hidden gem! The staff are incredibly warm and welcoming, and the Thai food is the most authentic and delicious you’ll find in Rawai. If you’re in the area, this place is an absolute must-visit. Prices are very affordable

Name in English is The Recycler. The place is built with recycled driftwood and found beach items. Many fans running to cool customers in the humid climate. One stormy night the leaks made puddles inside! Thai menu very tasty and less expensive than many others.
Baan Klang Nam is a beautiful restaurant full of old age charm. It was once a stilt house and retains much of the character. They produce deliciously tasting Thai food that is beautifully presented and portions are of a generous amount. We called in one evening for dinner and ordered starters, mains and desserts. All were wonderful, fresh and full of flavour. For so much food, 3 large beers and 2 glasses of wine our bill was a touch over 1000 baht, amazing value! If you are in the area they are well worth a visit.
